Escaping Amy

Part One

by D.X. Machina

It is finally night, and for a few, brief moments, I can rest, without fear of

injury.

It has been an eternity since the world changed, engulfing me in events I would

not have dreamed possible. I have seen things...but I can barely think of them,

much less tell of them.

My stomach churns. How long since that last meal? Four, five days? I must find

food tonight. I will risk going out there. Risk all sorts of calamities. Risk

death.

I must. If she is to be stopped, I must. And if I do die tonight, I die a free

man, on my own terms, not hers. Not hers.

I have done the impossible. I am escaping Amy.

I crawl to the edge of the floorboard. The hallway is quiet. I do not listen so

much as feel for the vibrations--no one is coming. At least not now.

I run out into the monstrous hallway, towards a room where there is danger

aplenty--but food.

I do it because I am Jon Chamberlain, and I am alive.

I do it because, if it was her choice, I would not be.

I would be crushed under her feet, undoubtedly, or perhaps smashed under the

weight of her left breast, my last sensation of monstrous pressure and the sound

of her rapidly beating heart. Perhaps I would be lucky, and live a while for her

to use as a toy, being stuffed into her vagina--although I was too small for

such duty from the start.

The start. Well, I suppose there's no better place to begin than the start. I'll

tell the story to myself again, and maybe, someday, I'll tell it to someone

else.

* * *

I stopped in at 7-11 at about quarter to Midnight. I just needed a 12 pack of

Coke and some bread for the next day--I needed to make a lunch for work, the

cashflow was a little light that week.

Anyhow, I walked in, and the hair on the back of my neck stood on end. There was

something amiss--but I couldn't put my finger on it. I scanned the store, but

nothing seemed out of the ordinary, except the cashier was away from the

checkstand. I was wondering where he or she had gone, and why they had displayed

such a flagrant disregard for 7-11 policy on remaining behind the checkstand or

else, when I saw her.

She was in her mid-twenties, with long, blonde hair and dark gray eyes. She

turned to me and smiled. I swallowed hard. She was a beauty, no question, but

there was something wrong....

Suddenly, I felt pain surge through every nerve in my body. I dropped to my

knees and screamed. My skin felt like it was on fire, my stomach felt like it

had been dipped in lead, my brain tried like mad to shut itself off.

Then, quickly as it started, it was over. I struggled to regain my breath, and

looked up.

I instantly regretted it.

I was looking straight into the woman's face. A sick, twisted smile played

itself out over her face. A sick, twisted smile thirty yards long.

At long length, she spoke. "WELL," her voice boomed, knocking me to my knees

anew. "I WAS JUST ABOUT TO LEAVE, BUT LOOK AT THIS KIDS! ANOTHER TRAVELING

COMPANION! SOMEONE TO JOIN ALL OF YOU TONIGHT." She laughed, a horrible

cacophony of perversion, and then scooped me up with a long, pink fingernail.

I did not think to resist. It would have been futile. I instead balled up, and

tried not to get hurt as she dumped me into her purse.

I crashed into the bottom and was immediately seasick, as she swung the bag over

her shoulder and took her leave of the store. I stood, and goggled.

There were eighteen of us there. They were all giants to me, though I would soon

realize that even the largest of us was ludicrously small. I saw the two 7-11

clerks, and slowly walked towards them. Perhaps fate drove me towards them. More

likely it was the fact that they were not very giant to me. While most of the

people appeared to be between sixty and ninety feet tall, these two were

twenty-two and twelve feet tall, respectively.

At any rate, I approached them. "What's going on?" I shouted to the twenty-foot

tall girl. She looked down and me, and shook her head, like she couldn't

comprehend what had just happened. Her co-worker was the first to speak.

"I don't know what happened. She just came in, ordered a pack of smokes, and

then, boom, Liz and me shrunk." He held out a meaty palm. "James Tanner."

"Jon Chamberlain," I responded. "I have a feeling that things are going to get

rough."

"What do you mean?" said Liz, bending down towards me. I got a good look at her

for the first time and realized she was quite an attractive woman. She swept her

long red hair back, and frowned.

"Well...I guess it won't hurt to admit it. I've read a few stories about women

who get...sexual pleasure out of torturing tiny people. Until now, I thought

they were fiction, but now...."

"....Now you're not so sure," boomed a voice. It was the proverbial fifty foot

woman, a tall, skinny brunette with long, straight hair, and a terminally

serious demeanor. "Kate Armstrong. And you're right to be nervous. I've known

Amy for a few weeks, and she's not right in the head. I always thought she'd

snap. Never like this, though."

She sat down. It was easier, now. We were in a car, it seemed. We were in

motion, but not the crazy, seasick motion of the purse. "How did you know

this...Amy?" I asked.

She smiled wanly. "She lives down the hall from me. Moved in a few weeks ago.

Now...well, I hope I get the chance to see my husband again. I don't suspect

it'll happen, though."

I frowned. "What do you mean...not right?"

"Oh, nothing I could put my finger on. Well--yeah, there was one thing. I

remember coming outside last weekend, right after that big thunderstorm?"

I nodded.

"Well, she was out there. Stepping on earthworms. Not accidentally, either--she

was seeking them out , and crushing 'em slowly. I looked at her face, and I

swear, it was a cross between orgasm and sheer sadism.

"And now, I'm afraid we may be the earthworms."

We were all quiet for the rest of the trip. Everyone knew in their bones what

was coming next.

* * *

We were dumped out, unceremoniously, on a kitchen table. I found myself next to

Liz, James, and Kate. I looked around at the three of them, and began humming a

tune from "Man of La Mancha". It seemed somehow appropriate.

The giantess addressed her (captive) audience.

"WELL, WELL, WELL, IT SEEMS I'VE CAUGHT MORE OF YOU THAN I EXPECTED. I THOUGHT

IT WAS GOING TO BE A GOOD DAY WHEN I WENT TO THE MALL, AND SAW SOME BEAUTIFUL

GIRLS AND BOYS PLAYING OUTSIDE DAYTON'S, AND, WELL, IT'S BEEN A BETTER DAY THAN

I COULD'VE IMAGINED! I'VE DONE THIS FIFTEEN TIMES NOW, AND I'VE NEVER DARED TAKE

MORE THAN SEVEN OR EIGHT. BUT TODAY, EIGHTEEN! THIS WILL BE A GREAT NIGHT. FOR

ME, THAT IS.

"MAKE NO MISTAKE. YOU GUYS ARE ALL GOING TO DIE. I WISH SOMETIMES I WAS ONE OF

THOSE NAMBY-PAMBY GENTLE GIANTESSES. THAT WAY Y'ALL WOULD LAST LONGER. BUT I

LOVE THE FEELING OF LITTLE PEOPLE SQUISHING IN UNDER MY FEET TOO MUCH TO GIVE IT

UP. A PITY, I SUPPOSE.

"ANYHOW, ENOUGH TALK. I'M GOING BY THE FIRST IN, FIRST OUT RULE. SO...."

With that, she reached for the aforementioned high school couples. Two boys,

both football-player types, and two girls, both cheerleader types. Amy had

taste--they were almost cloyingly cute, even in the despair that had obviously

overtaken them. The girls, I now realize, were each four inches tall; the boys

measured two inches.

As Amy reached for them, I heard a quiet voice carry towards me. "We are going

to have to escape."

It was Kate's voice. I whispered back, and hoped she had good hearing.

"Yeah, we're doomed either way, might as well go down swinging."

"All of us can't escape. Perhaps three or four. But someone must warn the

authorities of this mad woman's actions."

I nodded. "What is your plan?" I asked. I felt certain she'd have one. And she

did.

I wish, looking back on it, that I had had her role, and she mine. But Kate

Armstrong chose well.

The giantess was squishing the football players under her ass. I could hear

their muffled screams, bones popping one by one. The giantess cooed as she

stuffed two naked cheerleaders into her cunt. She was enjoying the carnage.

It was at that moment that Kate Armstrong made her strike.

"Hey! Bitch! Down here!"

It took Amy a few seconds to notice, and when she did, it was with unreserved

disdain. "PITIFUL FLEA, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"

"I'm challenging your authority, cunt. You may be bigger than I am, but I'm a

person, and I will like Hell just roll over and let you kill me."

Amy looked blandly interested. She contracted her vaginal muscles. I heard the

cracking of bones from underneath the table. "I COULD CRUSH YOU LIKE A BUG," she

seethed, and raised her hand.

This was our cue. Liz, James, and I had been backing away from the crowd that

had gathered to watch Kate's impudence. As Amy swung her hand downward, Kate

threw herself out of the way, and we threw ourselves off the table.

It was not foolhardy. We were aiming for a stack of clothes on the floor, a

stack that Amy hadn't remembered to move.

While we fell, Kate grabbed hold of Amy's pinky, and began to ascend her arm.

Amy roared, and grabbed for her. Kate threw herself onto Amy's breast, and

clambered up towards her face.

We hit the clothes and burrowed for cover. It was about this time that I heard

the dull THWAP! of Amy extinguishing Kate's life. Tears welled up in my eyes,

but I didn't falter.

Kate had given her life for ours. We had to find someone who would stop Amy. It

was our mission. And it was about to begin.

* * *

We cowered there all night long, listening to the screams, the cries for mercy,

the crushing bones. Liz was near tears, and I was, too. Only James seemed at all

composed.

"She's going to notice we're gone," he said. "Should we make a break for it?"

"She'll kill us," sobbed Liz. "She'll kill us."

I tried to compose myself, though I shared Liz' bleak assessment. "If we run,

we'll be out in the open. At least hidden here, she might not find us until she

has to leave."

James sighed. "There's no good option, I'm afraid. We've just got to pray we

come out of this alive."

We listened for hours. And then, we heard a sound that brought joy to our

hearts.

"WELL, THAT'S ALL OF YOU, ISN'T IT? A GOOD NIGHT, I TELL YOU. WELL, I MUST GET

MY SLEEP--CAN'T BE LATE FOR WORK TOMORROW. I'VE GOT AN APPOINTMENT WITH MY BOSS.

"IF IT'S ANY CONSOLATION--YOU ALL MADE A GREAT LAY! ESPECIALLY YOU, MY DEAR

DEPARTED NEIGHBOR. I SHOULD'VE KEPT YOU AROUND--YOU HAD SPUNK. I LIKE THAT."

With that, we heard her trudge off to bed, turning the lights off on her way.

We crept from under the clothes. I thought about investigating to see if anyone

was left alive, but I knew that it was futile--anyone who lived through that was

going to die soon, and was just going to slow us down.

We moved towards the dim crack of light shining in from the hallway. After a few

minutes, I said, "Stop."

"What is it?" asked James.

"I'm slowing you down. You two are barely walking, and here I am, running, and I

can't keep up. I'll stay behind, try to distract her if I need to--"

"Like Hell I'm leaving you to her! I can solve this problem," said Liz, and she

did.

She grabbed me, and picked me up like a rag doll--which, I suppose, I was to

her. "Come on, let's get going."

It took us a good hour to reach the door, and when we finally did, we weren't

sure it was such a good idea. Crawling on my stomach, I could make it out into

the hall--barely--but Liz and James had no hope. We were trapped.

"Jon, go on through. We'll stay behind...."

"Like Hell!" I echoed. "We're in this together--live or die. Now, let's see if

we can't solve this problem."

We couldn't. Not without returning to our normal sizes. We had but one

chance--and it wasn't one that made us happy.

We would have to wait for Amy to let us out.

* * *

The hours crept by maddeningly slowly. We knew we'd have to move fast if we

hoped to survive. We were hiding under one of three sets of high-heeled shoes,

and we were ready. And we were ready. And we were ready.

But the hours moved slowly, and our adrenaline high degenerated into a crash. We

struggled to keep alert.

When the shower started, I woke up. "She's awake," I murmured, trying to rouse.

"Get ready."

Liz picked me up, and gave me a squeeze. She didn't speak.

We heard her getting ready, humming an unintelligible tune. We heard the dull

thunder, and felt the floor shake, as she strode defiantly into the living room.

She was gorgeous. The evil ones always are. From the tips of her red-painted

toes to her lovely, raven hair, she was a vision.

But this wasn't the time to look. It was time to run.

She was wearing shoes already (thank God), and simply turned the knob on her

door.

We bolted the few inches to the door, then around the door frame and along the

wall, stopping as the door slammed with a thud. We stared up at her.

She paused for a second, and walked away.

We were free!

And yet, our imprisonment had just begun.
